Balance Studio

Landing page for yoga studio

UX/UI Design 2026

Challenge and Context

About the Project

Balance Studio — A yoga space in a residential area offering in-person classes in yoga, breathing practices, and meditation. The studio also hosts a massage therapist. The original website is outdated: too much text, no visual harmony, online booking doesn't work, and the current schedule is not visible — causing the studio to lose potential clients.

Problem:

The studio was using an outdated landing page built on a template with no editing capabilities. The client wanted to rebuild the site from scratch to match her approach: calm, minimalist, and user-friendly.

Solution:

  • Build a site that allows quick class booking and displays the current schedule and available classes.
  • Make the site look modern and work across all devices.
  • Convey the atmosphere of yoga and care through design.

The meaning of the design

Make the invisible — visible. Previously, clients didn't know who was leading the class and didn't trust the studio. Now three experts — yoga, breathing, massage — are presented as distinct individuals with their own approach. The design builds trust through personalization, not slogans. The schedule and booking are right there, no searching required.

Yoga - Expert Anna Nikolaevna T.

For over 8 years, Anna has been helping people find balance through the body. Her approach is not about complex asanas, but about gently returning to oneself. She teaches listening to the body, rather than "doing it right."

Anna leads Hatha and Yin yoga classes, with special attention to breath and alignment. Her classes are the perfect place for those just starting their journey or wanting to return to practice without pressure.

Massage - Expert Maria Sergeevna L.

Maria is not just a massage therapist, but a guide to recovery. With a medical background and experience in a rehabilitation center, she knows how to work with tension accumulated over years of office life, childbirth, or stress.

Her massage is a combination of therapeutic technique and deep relaxation. She doesn't just "knead muscles" — she helps the body remember how to be soft.

Meditation - Expert Elena Mikhailovna A.

Elena is a psychologist with 10 years of experience who realized long ago that to help the mind, you need to start with the body. In her classes, you will learn to calm your nervous system, relieve anxiety, and find inner silence even amidst the rhythm of a big city.

Her practices are based on mindfulness, pranayama, and body-oriented therapy. They are suitable for absolutely everyone — even those who "can't meditate."

Typography and Color Palette

The project uses free fonts from the Google Fonts library: Cormorant Garamond for headings and Inter for body text and captions.
